Indonesia

Hey people!! To celebrate the independence day of Indonesia (17th August 2009), I want to share the way I feel and the way I thin about my lovely country

Indonesia was the country I born and live in. I never go to another country or go vacation to foreign countries, although I really want to.

My father go to college in the foreign country. After hear from my father how beauty and good that country is, I really want to go there.

After getting older, I started to know my world, where I live. Although it's just the little part of my world, it doesn't make me stop to know more. And maybe I thought it wasn't a world that I want, and started to hate it.

I'm getting older and older. It is now the century of technology. Technology takes all part of our life, and as I see, Indonesia can grow in this century of technology.

But, it doesn't mean that Indonesia lost its culture and give away all the life process to technology, No, it doesn't like that. Indonesia still have its culture, and it make so proud. But it doesn't mean, if you say Indonesia still old-fashioned, that don't believe technology, or still live primitivism, not like that too.

So, how is Indonesia? What can I say is Indonesia can live with technology, but still have its culture. And I can swear it proudly.

Why, you don't believe Indonesia still have its culture? Oh man, don't be! Go to Bali, or Yogyakarta, then you'll see the culture you won't see it in another country. And, oh yes, mark my words, OUR CULTURE IS ORIGINAL FROM INDONESIA, WE DIDN'T COPY IT FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY. OR, IF YOU STILL DON'T BELIEVE IT, YOU'LL SEE THAT OUR ORIGINAL CULTURE IS BETTER THAN ANOTHER FAKE CULTURE THAT PRETENDING IT WAS ANOTHER COUNTRY'S CULTURE.

"So, Indonesia is just good in culture?"
Then I'll say, no. Now Many foreign countries started to count Indonesia as a good and rival country. You'll see the differences of Indonesia many years ago than now. Indonesia has grow up pretty good. And, I know, 10 or 15 years from now, Indonesia will be much better than now. Well, it's on our hands, teenager!!

Yep, that's my country, Indonesia. It was my wonderful country and I really proud of it.
